Highly recommend this salon! The environment is so nice and calming. Every detail is intentional down to the reclining chairs at the hair wash station, the beautiful artwork, and the drink refreshments (I had sparkling water). I took a risk to get my first-ever professional haircut. I was nervous because I have tightly coiled 4c hair and not everyone knows how to work with it. I showed Frenchie (the owner/stylist) a picture and she said "No Problem". She delivered! I am so grateful to have found this place.

I absolutely love how my hair looks! I decided to cut my hair shorter than the norm for me. Frenchy took her time and did my hair cut & color perfectly. Also Onyx was great washing my hair, I'm tenderheaded and they were so gentle.

Hair Vyce is the first hair salon I visited in Philadelphia for my natural hair and I haven't gone anywhere else! It has the old school vibe with customers and salon workers talking together, but if you want to chill and be quiet you can do that too. They offer drinks to you as you wait to be serviced and during your service as well, and everyone working there is super professional and knowledgable about the services they provide. I have been working with Frenchie for almost a year now on growing my natural hair and she has helped me to love my natural hair, leading me to wear it out more often, and its much healthier than it was previously.
